Portions of her land were last harvested prior to her ownship some 30 years ago.  The trail system used to at that time is in good shape and will be water bared at completion to protect them from erosion using AMP (Acceptable Mgt. Practices} as our guide. It begins just uphill from the gates included in your auction and weaves its way up the center of the lot to the top of the hill.  All logs from this area will be pulled across the field south of the solar panels.  East of the solar panels is a flagged trail that connects with her airport road frontage.  That is where we plan to cut the logs and load trucks.  Its possible some timber near the north line will need to be processed near the former campsite.  However. this will only if we can't get it to Airport road.

The major timber species include Ash, Maple, Birch and Oak.  The Ash has been attacked by Emerald Ash Boher, some are standing dead trees.  We are harvesting the merchantable timber; generally 15 inch and larger.  Some large unmerchantable trees will be retained for their wildlife and Forest Carbon value.  Most tops will be lopped to approximately 4 feet.  I estimate 4 weeks of harvesting will be necessary to complete the project.  Rain days will add to the time needed to complete.
